Gaelic Games Europe 15s Premier Football Championships

GGE will be running the European Football 15-a-side championship this year for both men’s and ladies football.

If your club is interested in sending a 15-a-side squad to compete in men’s or ladies football, please fill out the entry form and transfer the deposit(s) by 24th March 2024.

The winning European men’s 15s football team will compete in the Leinster Junior Club Championship in Ireland on the weekend of the 2nd November 2024.

The winning European ladies 15s football team will compete in the All-Ireland Junior Club Championship and play the winner of Britain in an away fixture in Britain, the weekend of the 26th October 2024.

The final structure of the championship will be determined after close of the Expressions of Interest form on Sunday 24th March 2024. The men’s and ladies 15s football finals are provisionally planned for the 14th/15th September 2024 in Maastricht, with information about any additional qualifying rounds to follow after the form closes.

Please note the following important details:

A registration fee of €15 per player will apply to all participating teams. If the tournament takes more than one round to complete (e.g. quarter-final, semi-final, final), the registration fee will apply once only per player.

In order to reduce the risk of last-minute dropouts, a non-refundable deposit of €100 per team is required to confirm team registration.

No amalgamated teams are permitted in men’s football per GAA rules.

Players on approved Student Permits are allowed to play in this competition.

Players on student permits are not permitted to play in this competition.

Amalgamations are permitted for this competition, but must be approved in advance by the LGFA. To ensure that this is approved in good time, please indicate in the entry form if your entry is an amalgamation and list both clubs and their contact information.
